The Delej Collection is an appreciation of Modern Architecture, guiding you through the diverse styles of the 20th Century, from Bauhaus to Mid-Century Modern, and culminating in Brutalist influences. The journey begins with our interpretations of the clean lines and functional forms of Bauhaus reflected in the the two sets within the collection: ‘Curved’ and ‘Triangular’.
Each set consists of 3-3 tiles and those three tiles together create the basic pattern. The ‘DELEJ’ family is completed by two flat rectangles of different thicknesses.
You can combine sets, mix and match only some elements, or even create mono patterns. The use of flat tiles allows for the creation of patterns on specific areas of the paved surface. By varying the thicknesses of the flat elements, one can achieve such as concave, convex - ‘chiseled-like’ patterns.
Thanks to the lightweight and manageable size of the tiles, intricate patterns can be created with ease and precision. And with that in mind, continuing our journey through the non-exhaustive list of 20th-century milestones, you can imagine how gracefully the tiles transition to the organic and sleek aesthetics of Mid-Century Modern, and conclude with the bold and raw elements of Brutalism - all by placing the tiles in different directions and pairing them harmoniously or off-beat.
